Kopt. 680; KYP <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coptic-magic.phil.uni-wuerzburg.de\/index.php\/manuscript\/kyp-m313\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">M313<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coptic-magic.phil.uni-wuerzburg.de\/index.php\/text\/kyp-t-229\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">T229<\/a>), tracing by Julia Schwarzer.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>After a big year preparing the first volume of the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coptic-magic.phil.uni-wuerzburg.de\/index.php\/2023\/11\/13\/2023-review-the-end-of-the-coptic-magical-papyri-project-and-the-beginning-of-the-papyri-copticae-magicae\/\">Papyri Copticae Magicae<\/a><\/em> (PCM),\u00a0we\u2019ve finally had time to post a new update to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coptic-magic.phil.uni-wuerzburg.de\/index.php\/manuscripts-search\/\">Kyprianos Database of Ancient Ritual Texts and Objects<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As well as the usual corrections and updates, the contents of this update include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>21 new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coptic-magic.phil.uni-wuerzburg.de\/?sfid=11222&amp;_sfm_all\">manuscript entries<\/a>, bringing the total to 1121.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We have also updated all of the manuscript sigla, allowing the manuscripts to be searched by their PCM numbers (for example, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coptic-magic.phil.uni-wuerzburg.de\/index.php\/manuscript\/kyp-m148\/\">PCM I 28<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>14 new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coptic-magic.phil.uni-wuerzburg.de\/?sfid=20347\">text entries<\/a>, bringing the total to 248. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>These include all of the texts in the first volume of the <em>Papyri Copticae Magicae<\/em>, including, for example, PCM 1 21 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coptic-magic.phil.uni-wuerzburg.de\/index.php\/text\/kyp-t-229\/\">KYP T229<\/a>), an invocation of Zomiz, the king of the Djinn, pictured above.
