Discovered during 1964-1965 excavation by the Istituto Paprirologico in Antinoe, after which it was given by the Egyptian authorities to the Istituto and held in the Museo Archeologico in Florence for about 35 years, before being transferred to the Istituto Papirologico ca. 2001-2002 (Menci 2007: p. 249 n. 1).
