Coptic Magical Papyri Podcast is intended to share our work with interested specialists and non-specialists. Since February 2020, we have been releasing episodes covering topics related to the Ancient Egyptian, Greek and Coptic magical traditions, as well as life and religion in the ancient Mediterranean in general. What is magic? Who were the ‘magicians’, and what was their role in society? How is the study of Coptic magic relevant today? We will be exploring these questions with the help of our guests.
