| Collection History: | Excavated 1937 at Nessana by the Colt Archaeological Expedition led by Harris Dunscombe Colt in a storeroom attached to the churches of Saint Mary and Saints Sergius and Bacchus. This papyrus was presumably one of those taken by Colt in the division with the Palestine Government after the excavation, since he donated it to the Pierpont MorganLibrary in 1955 (Casson &Hettich 1950: p. v; collection website 19/11/20211). |
