Collection History:

Excavated on 4 June 2003 as part of rescue operations carried out by the former ΚΣΤ’ Ephorate for Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities supervised by Maria Peritaki, found in cemetery northeast of the Piraeus, a few metres outside the weternmost Athenian Long Wall, below modern Piraeus Street (131-133) (Lamont 2021: p. 77-78).

Pierced with nail 3.7 cm long, diameter of head of 1.7 cm. Found in a cache of five lead tablets.
