| Notes/Discussion: | Papyrus was probably cut from a roll that remained after entering tax receipts (Bonner 1936: p. 130). The text contains features such as a title, the generic name marker, and instructions, normally indicative of a formulary, but Jordan argues that, based on the form (wide margins and “epigraphic hand”) the manuscript is more likely to have been produced as an applied text(Jordan 2001: p. 183-184). |
