| Notes: | 47. ⲟⲩⲥⲁⲛ̅ⲙ̅ⲧ The meaning of this word here is not clear; Crum (CD 339b) gives the translations of “pool, tank (?)”, but notes it can also mean a “collecting place (?)”, giving examples where it is a place for gathering doves and crops. It is possible that this should be translated as “dovecote”; cf. P. Mac. I 1 (T1375/M167), another text whose goal is to make a dovecote (ⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲕⲁ ϭⲣⲟⲙⲡⲉ) inhabited (ϭⲱⲣϭ). |
