I have numbered the pages this way since it seems to be the only way that makes sense from the perspective of a bifolio whose spine is to the left when viewed from the front; as Tibet (2014: 131-132) notes, it may have been part of a larger codex which opened from both sides. The concordance to the original manuscript is that page 1 here = Verso (1), page 2 here = Recto (1), page 3 here = Recto (inverted), page 4 here =Verso (inverted) (KD (25/3/2019). |
