| Collection History: | Acquired by Mrs. Rylands from James Lindsay, the 26th Earl of Crawford in 1901. The absence of a second number in Crum 1909 suggests that they were acquired after 1868, when Alexander Lindsay, the 25th Earl of Crawford, had his collection catalogued by J.M. Rodwell. It may therefore have been purchased by James Lindsay in 1898 from dealers in Cairo (Crum 1909: p. vii). |

| Notes/Discussion: | Original use quite faded, appears to have been cancelled with lines through them. May be an end folio from a codex. |
