Collection History:

Wadi Sarga was excavated by R. Campbell Thompson in 1913-1914. Three cemeteries, houses, decorated “church” caverns and other structures were discovered. A full record of excavations was never published. Some ostraca and wall inscriptions were, however, published by Crum and Bell (Crum, Bell 1922).
