Collection History:

Purchased as part of a lot of 6 Coptic manuscripts (nos. RC-2642-2647) for $150 on 13th October 1952 from Ulrich Steindorff Carrington, the son of the Egyptologist Georg Steindorff, who had died in August of the previous year. The papyrus had been part of his father’s collection (Master Artifact Record Database of Rosicrucian Museum; Blumell/Dosoo 2021: p. 120, n. 7).
