→ 1. ϯⲱⲣ̅ⲕ̅ ⲉ̅ⲣⲟ̣ⲕ ⲙ̣̅ⲛ̣̅ⲣⲁⲛ ⲙ̅ⲙⲏⲧ̣ Col. 2 |
[col. 1, 1] I adjure you (s.) by the true names, [2] Raphael, Adōnai, Sabaōth: [3] send Temeluchus to me, [4] the one who is over the punishment of … [5] the one who tortures the lawless and the [6] liars and those who swear falsely, [7] that he wreak vengeance for me upon them! Yea, I adjure you [8] by your only-begotten son, whose true name [9] is Seth, Seth, the living Christ, [10] that you torture them in your wicked tortures – [11] first cause their eyes to [12] darken and come out, then bring [13] upon him [sic] a deathly injury, and an untreatable wound [14] and an injury that cannot be cleaned! I adjure [15] you by the great power of heaven, Iaō, Iaō, [16] Makhael, send Uriel so that he might wreak vengeance for me [17] upon these ones who swear falsely, so that he might bring upon them from [18] heaven an unsleeping worm and unquenchable wrath, [19] that they might be in the body of the one who will [20] swear falsely in your name unjustly! [21] Send Raphael to me with his fiery swords, [22] that he might come and command Temeluchus, so that he will afflict [23] him, swiftly, in a demonic fashion and [24] an error and a disturbance, and madness! [25] I adjure you (s.) by the seven letters – MMMMMMM – [26] that are perfect, that you reveal him, that you reveal him! [27] I adjure you by the seven angels that surround [28] the throne of the Father and the Son! I adjure those whose [29] names I name; wreak vengeance for me upon he who will swear [30] falsely by your name, Iaō, Iaō, Seth, Seth, Šmmē Hraēl, [31] Adonai, Iakouba, Baroukhia, Šarkou, Kolosou, [col. 2, 1] […] that […] [2] [ … ] … who stand […] [3] [ … ] wreak vengeance for me upon [4] … you (s.) being upon his […] [5] in wood (?) and like … [6] … until it breaks in its […] [7] their fall, swiftly! [8] Hroumiel, Iōnaēl, Marouēl, [9] Souēl, Iōniēl, Dōrouēl, [10] Misōēl, Eneriēl, Sōmouēl, [11] Prōmiēl, Sanaēl, Masthiēl, [12] Sakhoiēl, Sramaēl, Sriēl, [13] Iōnouēl, Hroinouēl, Sariēl, [14] Sousaēl, Lōnouēl, who are [15] the twenty-one angels [16] who are on the left; come and [17] do my work swiftly with the man [18] who will swear by the name of God [19] falsely, unjustly! … [20] the angel of Zechariah through [21] the word of God that is coming forth. [22] He said to me, “What do you see, you, [23] Zechariah?” I said to him, “I see [24] a sickle flying forth, twenty [25] cubits long and ten cubits [26] wide.” He said to me, “Do you not [27] know what this is?” [28] I said, “No, my lord.” [29] He said to me, “This is the curse [30] which is coming forth upon the face of the whole earth, [31] upon every thief [32] upon whom vengeance will be wreaked.” |
