[ⲛ]ⲇͅⲇͅ The other two copies of this text have ⲛⲓⲇͅⲇͅ (P. Mich. inv. 602 l. 12 (KYP T2792); P. Mich. inv. 598 vo ll. 15-16 (KYP T1)), but here there is no space for a ⲓ. The symbol for ⲇͅⲇͅ is strange, with what appears to be a ⲡ underneath, but it is clear from the context and the other copies that this is what should be read here. Verso 10. ⲁ There is a gap between ll. 9 and 11, and this ⲁ seems to have been added later, but its purpose is uncertain. It was perhaps meant as a correction, but the alphas of ϩ̣ⲁ above (l. 9) and ⲧⲁⲭⲩ below (l. 11) seem clear, and the added ⲁ is quite far from both words. It could be a pen trial or some paratextual note by the scribe. |
