Parallel text: P. Mich. inv. 594 ro ll. 6-7 (KYP M15, KYP T910)

10–11. ⲡϣ̅ⲛ̅ϫⲱϫ “headache”, cf. Crum CD 779a. Compare the pharmacological manuscript C.Pharm.Copt. 18 (KYP M676) fol. B vo l. 11-14, which has a section on the use of marjoram for headaches (ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲛⲓϣⲛϫⲱϫ).
11. ϫⲱϫ The base of the first ϫ extends into the left margin.
12. ⲥⲙⲁⲩ “temple” Crum CD 342a gives “temples” and “eyelids” as two possible meanings, but Vycichl DELC 190a says it is only attested as the latter once. For ⲥⲙⲁⲩ as “temples”, see C.Pharm.Copt. 32 (KYP M941) ll. 123, 124, 167, 315 and C.Pharm.Copt. 33 (KYP M326) front l. 3.
