For the wording, compare Leviticus 18.21: “Thou shalt not lie with a man” (ⲛⲛⲉⲕⲛⲕⲟⲧⲕ ⲙⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲟⲟⲩⲧ), and cf. Behlmer 2000 for attitudes to same-sex male sexuality in Coptic sources. |
