Parallel text: P. Mich. inv. 594 ro ll. 18-19 (KYP M15; KYP T922)

1. ⲉϥϩⲟⲣϣ︦ Mirecki (1994: p. 446) translates as “slow” (qualitative of ϩⲣⲟϣ, cf. Crum CD 706a), but it is probably the qualitative of ⲱⲣϣ “be cold” (Crum CD 530a; Westendorf HWB p. 294 s.v. ⲱⲣϣ) and the related form ⲁⲣⲟϣ “become cold, fever” (Crum CD 16b; Westendorf HWB p. 12 s.v. ⲁⲣⲟϣ).
2. ⲟⲩⲛⲉϩ ⲙ̅ⲙⲉ For “true oil” referring to olive oil, cf. Crum CD 240b; Westendorf HWB p. 134 s.v. ⲛⲉϩ. For other instances of ⲛⲉϩ (ⲙ)ⲙⲉ “olive oil” in Coptic magical and pharmacological texts, see P.Heid.inv.Kopt. 685 (PCM I 25; KYP M186) p. 9 l. 7; P.Heid.inv.Kopt. 684 (PCM I 28; KYP M148) p. 13 l. 2; C.Pharm.Copt. 3 (KYP M191) l. 18; C.Pharm.Copt. 4 (KYP M190) p. 168 col. 1 Il.11-12; C.Pharm.Copt. 17 (KYP M379) l. 6; C.Pharm.Copt. 28 (KYP M643) p. 241 l. 3, p. 242 l. 26, p. 244 ll. 21; C.Pharm.Copt. 32 (KYP M941) ll. 48, 63, 69, 223, 247, 254, 317, 321, 332.
